My name is Stephanie Hymas and i am a self-taught Mixed Media Por­trait and Vision­ary Artist based in the UK.

I’ve always been a cre­ative girl hav­ing been very much into dance and the­atrics from an early age, how­ever it wasn’t until my mid 20’s whilst liv­ing in France that I actu­ally started to draw, at first it was just a way to pass the time as I spent many an hour on my own, lit­tle did I real­ize how expan­sive and cre­ative the jour­ney that i was embark­ing on would be, and how it would nat­u­rally unfold over time.

I draw inspi­ra­tion from many things such as music, the writ­ten word, dreams, my love for dance and the more med­i­ta­tive and spir­i­tual aspects of my life, fem­i­nine beauty and the pres­ence of spirit or soul found within a gaze has always grabbed my atten­tion. It is my inten­tion to com­mu­ni­cate an essence of spirit in every piece that I pro­duce, through both my Por­trai­ture and Free Flow Energy Infused Dig­i­tal Art, and to hope­fully con­nect the viewer to some­thing that is authen­tic, uplift­ing and transformative.

To date my work has been pub­lished in var­i­ous online pub­li­ca­tions, exhib­ited and sold at the Mori Gallery in Syd­ney, exhib­ited and sold at the Brighton Artist Open House Fes­ti­val, as well as sat­is­fy­ing a num­ber of clients through pri­vate com­mis­sioned work.
