Alfina

I haven’t posted anything in what seems like an absolute age, my excuse is that i’ve been busy moving house…in fact moving countries, so as you can imagine i have had tons to do. Anyway much to my delight, i’ve been able to start drawing again in a new space with plenty of light, peace and quiet.
I am being called to expand on the materials that i use within my work, so with that comes a fair bit of experimentation and lots of play, the above piece ‘Alfina’ was created with graphite, acrylics, ink, and art pens, i used a fair bit of gold ink in this piece which hopefully you can see in the second shot. Due to this inner calling for creative expansion, over time you will find my work takes on a new direction, although of course i will return occasionally to simple graphite portraiture, i can’t wait to share with you some of the creative ideas/inspirations that i’ve been jotting down in my art journal over the past couple of months.
I am also very excited to be attending my first Art Fair in Rye on October 8th, i will be selling some precious originals of mine, ‘Alfina’ included, plus A4 prints and Art Greeting Cards of my work, do pop in if you’re in the area, entry to the fair is free and of course i’d love to meet you.

Hi Steph…I love your art…I love this one is so beautiful looks like you!~!!
